We just picked up the keys to our newest renovation project right here in Salem, and we have a major flooring dilemma! 🏡🛠️ In this latest walkthrough, the house is in great structural shape, but every single room features a completely different style of flooring—from mismatched LVP and vinyl to different colored carpet squares. If it was trashed, the choice would be easy, but it’s all brand new! Watch the full property tour below, vote in the comments on what we should do with the floors, and let us know your thoughts on our kitchen layout plans. We just purchased this place and I need help deciding on one thing. Every room has completely different floors. They are all in good condition, but take a look at what I mean. We got LVP in this living room, we got LVP going a different direction in the dining room, we got vinyl here in the kitchen, we got carpet squares here in another living room. Then heading on down the hallway, carpet here, different color carpet here, different color carpet here. Then look at the bathroom, vinyl in there too.
If it was in bad shape the answer would be easy. We would rip it all up and replace it. However, it is all in good shape. So do you think that we should take all that up and install the exact same flooring throughout the entire house? This is a one level home, okay? So let me know in the comments. Pause the video, let me know in the comments: would you take all that flooring up and make it all the same flooring, or just leave it the way it is because it is in good shape? Let me know in the comments.
Thanks for commenting on that. While I got you here, what do we think about this fan? It has this remote here. It must be out of batteries. Do you like these modern type fans with remotes and all kinds of gadgets, or would you prefer just a regular standard ceiling fan?
Okay, last question that has to do with the kitchen. Now we are replacing these appliances with stainless steel, okay? We are going to be able to leave that one. Should we replace the sink with stainless steel as well, or do you guys like that sink? And also the backsplash behind this stove is different than what is over here. Should we match that up or kind of leave it there for character? Seriously, I want to know, so let me know in the comments! Thank you all for your help as always. We are still looking for more homes to purchase and fix up. Contact me if you need a cash offer on your home today.
