We just officially put the final touches on our newest property transformation right here in Roanoke, and it is officially up for sale! Full disclosure: our team didn’t have to do a massive, heavy demolition gut job on this one. When we acquired this home, the original kitchen cabinets were structurally sound, the layout was solid, and the original hardwood flooring throughout the living spaces was absolutely beautiful. Tearing all of that out just to do it would be a total waste of money and would only drive up the final purchase price for the next local buyer. Instead, we focused strictly on a high-end cosmetic refresh, including full professional landscaping, brand-new paint inside, and clean carpet upgrades. But the absolute best feature of this home? It comes equipped with a massive array of fully paid-off solar panels, leaving the new homeowner with little to no monthly electric bill! If you need to sell my house fast in Roanoke or Salem VA, Cross Properties Inc. buys fixer-uppers, inherited estates, and outdated rentals completely as-is. We handle all the cleanup and repairs so you can walk away with a fair cash offer. Watch our short walkthrough video below, vote in the comments on our design choices, and check out the final listing price at the end!
We just finished updating this home in Roanoke and it is now for sale. This place has got some sweet features. I am going to show you them and I want to know what you think about them. This place is extremely affordable. I will share with you the price and all of the details at the end of the video, but for now let us go check it out.
One of the things I like most about this home is this massive family room with all this natural light. I would put a massive projector television right behind me. I can imagine some awesome game nights in here. Let me know what you would use this room for. Moving along, this home has an awesome finished portion of the downstairs that I will show you in a second. But check this out: designated dining area, new chandelier. In the kitchen, we kept these cabinets. They were not in bad shape at all. Let me know what you think of this kitchen. What I mean is, would you have kept the cabinets or would you have for sure torn them all out and redone this kitchen entirely?
Moving to the living room, we have hardwood floors and a fireplace. Hardwood floors go down the hallway as well. Three bedrooms back here. I really like how these bedrooms turned out with the hardwoods. I get a lot of hate for these white ceiling fans. Let me know in the comments if you like those or if you think they look cheap. I can promise you they are not cheap.
Full disclosure, we did not have to do much to this home. For instance, in this bathroom, all we did was paint in here. Something we did differently in this bathroom though, compared to other homes, is we didn’t paint the walls white. We kept the same sand beach color we did throughout the rest of the home. So what I want to know is, should we have painted this bathroom white, or do you like it with that tan layout? Let me know. Truth be told, I was just kind of tired of seeing every single bathroom whited out. If you are still watching, be sure to like the video for me.
Moving on downstairs, you have all this room for storage. Isn’t that so convenient? And then check this out: a full bathroom, a beautiful closet storage area, and what we have to call an office down here because of how small that window is. There is a concrete back patio, and the backyard is fenced in as well as the side yard.
Without a doubt, one of the coolest features of this place is the solar panels up there. That is going to make the new homeowner have little to no electric bill, which is absolutely awesome. Better part about it: they are completely paid off, meaning no payments regarding those. I would love to hear in the comments what those of you think about the solar panel situation. I know that is a hot topic, so please let me know what you think.
This place can be yours for two hundred and fifty-four thousand, nine hundred dollars. So that is a lot of bang for your buck at this place, that is for sure. So if you are interested in the professional pictures or any other details, be sure to check the link in the comments of this post. Thank y’all so much for watching. We are still looking for more homes to purchase. Be sure to like, comment, and share. Y’all have a great day!
